Hard Work is Critical for a Long Life

Hard Work is Critical for a Long Life

We have talked about the importance of hard work in this blog before when we explained how successful people often seem lucky, however the reality is that their hard work attracts luck.

But far beyond just attracting luck and opportunity, hard work has also been linked in studies to to longevity.

In fact, working hard is one of natures most potent Bio-Hacks.
In a new study which looked at longevity and its association to career success, researchers made some telling discoveries.

The study revealed that conscientiousness was associated with better longevity outcomes.

Conscientiousness is defined as wishing to do what is right, especially to do one's work or duty well and thoroughly.
Beyond just conscientiousness, whoever, researchers concluded that the greater the professional success achieved, the more positive the effect on longevity was.

The takeaway is this: hard workers always live longer, regardless of how successful they are.

But for the maximum effects, hard work must be rewarded with success.  And we have found that examples of hard work not being met with success are few and far between.

This is why at Anastasis our motto is Never not Working, because it truly is the key to a longer, purpose filled life.
